Overview
Description

Mega Man II brings the classic action-platforming gameplay to the handheld format as Mega Man and his robotic dog Rush embark on a new mission. Dr. Wily has stolen a time machine from the research laboratory to alter the past, forcing our hero to track him down across time. Players must navigate challenging stages and defeat eight revived Robot Masters originating from Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3. With trusty sidekick Rush providing assistance, Mega Man faces formidable trials to foil Dr. Wily's latest plot once and for all.

Something mysterious is going on at the reploid research island, where reploids have ceased functionality and their data has been strangely erased. An investigation team has encountered irregular reploids infected with a strange new DNA chip known as 'DNA Soul', which replaces useful data with a devastating Sigma virus and places all reploids in imminent danger. Now, it is up to Mega Man X and his comrade, Zero, to get to the damaged island and find out who is behind the DNA Soul virus. Players must navigate action-packed platforming stages, battle infected boss characters, and master abilities to save the reploid population from destruction.
