Overview
Description

The SteelSeries Arctis 7 is a renowned wireless gaming headset designed to deliver lossless, ultra-low latency audio for competitive and casual gamers alike. Featuring the signature Arctis soundscape, it emphasizes subtle yet critical in-game sounds to give players an audio advantage. Built for all-day comfort, it utilizes a ski-goggle suspension headband and AirWeave ear cushions to reduce fatigue during extended gaming sessions. Equipped with a Discord-certified ClearCast bidirectional microphone and robust multi-platform compatibility, it remains a staple for desktop and console gaming setups.

The Keychron K8 Pro is a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard that bridges the gap between mainstream and enthusiast keyboards, offering hot-swappable switch sockets so users can change switches without soldering, alongside full QMK/VIA firmware support for deep key remapping. It connects via Bluetooth to up to three devices or a USB-C cable, and includes dedicated function keys and a dial for Mac-specific media controls, making it equally suited to Windows and macOS users. South-facing RGB backlighting ensures compatibility with a wide range of aftermarket keycap sets, a detail enthusiast keyboard builders specifically look for when choosing a base keyboard to customize.

Works, with some caveats

Keychron K8 Pro is solid overall, though it's not perfect. On the plus side, great entry point into custom mechanical keyboards. That said, heavier than typical office keyboards, which held us back from rating it higher.
