Description

The notorious crime boss Mr. X is back with a sinister new plot involving lifelike robot duplicates and city-wide bombings. Teaming up with scientist Dr. Gilbert Zan, heroes Axel, Blaze, and Skate must fight their way through the Syndicate's forces to save the city once and for all. Experience intense side-scrolling combat across multiple platforms with support for single-player and co-operative gameplay. Master each character's unique moves, weapons, and special attacks to dismantle the Syndicate's criminal enterprise and rescue the captured city officials.

Streets of Rage is a legendary side-scrolling beat 'em up video game developed and published by Sega in 1991 for the Mega Drive/Genesis. When a powerful criminal syndicate takes over the city and corrupts the police force, three ex-police officersโ€”Adam, Axel, and Blazeโ€”take to the streets to fight back. Players can battle through wave after wave of thugs alone or team up with a friend in two-player co-op mode. Featuring an iconic electronic dance soundtrack and multiple endings based on player choices, it remains a defining classic of the genre.
